Adult Bible Fellowships

Each Sunday morning at 9:30 am, adults gather in rooms around our church facility in Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs).  Think of ABFs as a Sunday school class on steroids – solid content, combined with community building in an interactive environment designed to help you grow as a Christian.

Most of our ABFs are between 20-60 people, and feature group discussion and prayer times. We have ABFs that are geared toward a specific age group, and those that are open.

You can download our current ABF brochure with details about where they meet, current study, and other information here.

Small Groups

Large churches can’t provide through Sunday services the kind of fellowship and relationship-building we all need to be healthy as Christians. FEFC has small groups where you can find a place to grow with a smaller number of people. Small groups consist of Biblical study, fellowship, prayer, and outeach.

We offer men’s, women’s, and mixed small groups at various times and locations during the week.

If you would like to join a small group, please call the church office or fill out this form.

God desires to grow men strong in faith and character.  We grow best when we are in community with other Christian men. FEFC provides multiple opportunities for growth as a man:

•    men’s breakfast fellowship on the last Saturday morning of most months. (Please check with the office.)
•    men’s small groups
•    an annual Men’s Retreat in May
•    one-on-one mentoring opportunities
•    service projects
•    short-term missions teams
•    special events

If you are looking for fellowship, a good time and a place to serve, please check out the church calendar for upcoming events. If you have any questions regarding how to get involved click here and someone will respond.

‘Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.’  (Ephesians 6:10)

Senior Achievers

At FEFC, being a Senior is an opportunity for fun, fellowship, support, spiritual growth, and FINISHING WELL!

We encourage multi-generational fellowship and ministry and there are many opportunities for serving within the church and community. Seniors possess a lifetime of experience and knowledge and we believe God wants to bless and challenge our younger generations through our Seniors.

Our Senior Achievers meet monthly for fellowship and several things happen … There is great food and lots of fun! We have a short devotional and we have some form of entertainment from the humorous to enthralling! The entire fellowship is a ‘family reunion’ atmosphere. Fun is the expectation and Christ will be honored. Everyone is welcome!

Trips are a regular part of the fellowship as well. Each trip is purposely planned for fun, encouragement and fellowship. We do overnighters to places like the Millennium Theater in Lancaster. Day trips and sight-seeing adventures have included the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC and we frequent community symphony performances and cultural events. To find out what the next Senior Event is click here to see our calendar.

If you are a Senior, or know one looking to finish well, click the link for more information on how to join us for fun, fellowship and ministry. Contact us or stop by the Welcome Center in the church lobby after service.

Deaf Ministry

FEFC has an active ministry to the deaf and hearing-impaired community.

We offer deaf interpretation in our Sunday morning 10:45am service. Throughout the year we also offer special events.

We desire to expand our reach to the deaf and hearing impaired so if you know someone who might like to visit, or attend a special event, please see our church calendar for the schedule. If you are interested in serving with this important ministry, we offer classes to train volunteers to help with the worship services. Please contact us for more information.

Losing a loved one, a child, or a spouse can prove devastating. The period of grief can radically alter who we are, and often the sense of loss seems overwhelming. Many can sink into a period of despair and feel hopeless.

In GriefShare, you will find a supportive, caring community of others who share your pain and are seeking to experience God’s healing, no matter where in your journey of grief you may be.

We offer GriefShare as a church in two sessions each year, once in the fall, and once in the spring. Each session lasts for 13 weeks. Meetings take place on Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the Adult Learning Center. Content is through DVD’s and following a workbook.

You can learn more about Grief Share as a ministry, as well as details about when we meet, on the Grief Share website ( Through the GriefShare website you can register for our next session. You may also contact George Buck at 412-271-1896.
